Since 2017

One bike changes everything.

We partner with local schools to give children the joy of owning their first bicycle – and the freedom that comes with it.
Be part of the moment that makes it possible.

About us

Our Story

The Swerve Foundation began with a simple act of kindness in small-town Oklahoma.

As a kid, our founder was trying to teach himself how to ride his cousin’s bike - one that was far too big. His uncle noticed, handed his mom some money, and said, “Go buy that boy a bicycle!”

That moment changed everything. That bike became freedom, independence, confidence, belonging, and joy.

The Swerve Foundation was created to make sure more kids have that moment - especially those who might not otherwise get the chance. By partnering with elementary schools, we help put bikes where they can make the greatest impact.

Today, we continue that work with the same belief that started it all: when a community shows up for its kids, everything moves forward.

This Is The Moment

Pure joy. Real impact. One bike at a time.

Watch a child receive their first bike and you’ll see it – pure, unfiltered joy.

This is what we do. In classrooms across Jenks, we create moments kids will remember long after the day is over.

We don’t just give bikes. We create experiences – moments where a child realizes someone in their community noticed them and believed they deserved something special.

Every bike comes with a helmet, a lock, and a simple message: you matter. You’re capable. You’re worth investing in.

One bike. One child. One unforgettable moment at a time.

Be Part of the Moment

Our Community. Our Kids. Our Future.

When you donate to Swerve, you're investing in the children of Jenks. You're giving them transportation, health, independence, and joy. You're showing them they matter.

Every bike becomes more than a gift. It creates a lasting reminder of love and kindness that stays with a child. Long after the giveaway ends, each ride becomes a quiet reminder that someone noticed, someone cared, and someone believed in them.

The bikes themselves will eventually wear out. But the feeling of being seen, valued, and loved may not.
